Three National Standards for Cotton Processing to Be Implemented on June 1
On February 26, 2018, the National Standardization Management Committee issued GB/T18353-2018 “Basic Technical Requirements for Cotton Processing Enterprises” drafted by the Zhengzhou Cotton and Mammographic Engineering Technical Design Institute of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Jinjin Lion Cotton Machine Co., Ltd. The national standards GB/T 22335-2018 “Cotton Processing Technical Specifications” and GB/T35834-2018 “Technical Guidelines for Processing Cotton Picking Machines” drafted by the master were proposed by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and the national cotton processing standardization technology. The committee will take charge and will implement it on June 1, 2018.
With the further deepening of China's cotton inspection system reform, China's cotton from the cultivation technology to the processing of all aspects of the process technology has been rapid development, especially in the Xinjiang region in the cotton production, quality and related technology to improve the performance is particularly prominent. Especially in the past ten years, machine-picked cotton has passed from the experimental development to the promotion stage. At the cotton-planting farm of Xinjiang Bingtuan, the machine-picking cotton has reached more than 90%. Machine-made cotton processing technology is a conventional technology for the development of the cotton industry in developed countries in the world. However, the promotion of machine-picking cotton technology in China is a challenge and change to the traditional cotton planting, harvesting, and processing modes. Machine-picking cotton processing technology and hand-picked cotton have a greater difference, and have higher requirements for cleaning, cleaning and moisture control. Due to the concentrated picking time of machine-picking cotton, high impurity and moisture regain, it is very different from the hand picking cotton processing technology in the cleaning, drying and lint cleaning of seed cotton, plus cotton planting areas, cotton varieties, and processing The impact of scale and other aspects has caused the production layout, equipment selection, power equipment, and processing parameters of cotton processing plants to be very different.
In the course of the revision of these three standards, the current standards and the actual conditions of the processing enterprises were also combined in the formulation of the index of moisture regain and impurity rate of seed cotton, storage and drying temperature control, process flow, and performance requirements of major processing equipment.
