How to overcome the dyeing wrinkles of polyester microfiber ground fabric
It is very easy to produce wrinkles (chicken paw prints) when dyeing fabrics of polyester microfibers, in particular, it is difficult to repair the color of red, navy and dark gray. The composition of this fabric is mostly 75D72F (warp direction) × 150D/228F (latitude), a density of 144 × 93, a width of 4000px. General use of desizing → pre-shaped → grinding → dyeing → tenting set → finished product inspection dyeing and finishing process.
Practice has proved that there are many factors that form wrinkles. If the fabric is desizing and grinded, the warp and tear strength of the fabric is reduced by 11% and 50%, respectively; after dyeing at 130°C, the molecular chain movement in the crystallization zone of the fabric is not increased, and the nozzle on the dyeing machine is added. The pressure and the high speed friction of the guide roller, the fabric forms a fold in the machine and is fixed with different angles. In particular, the slower the fabric rotation speed, the dyestuffs in the dye bath should gather in the deformation zone of the fabric, and the higher the concentration, the deeper (obvious) the creases will be. Even if measures such as slow cooling are taken, it will not help.
After repeated practice, it has been found that to overcome this kind of fold mark, improvements must be made from the following aspects:
(1) The fabric should use tight desizing equipment for desizing, such as flat scouring machine, jigger, to ensure that the fabric is rolled flat.
(2) The predetermined shape must be regarded as the final shape, ie 190-200°C×30s, and the actual temperature of the main set-up box in the heat setting machine table must be strictly controlled. The setting fabric must ensure a moisture content of 5%-7%, and it should not be too high. Dry, especially when the climate is relatively dry in autumn and summer.
(3) Abrasive sandpaper should not only be even and even, but also have technical parameters such as tension and speed. In practice, it has been found that to select sandpaper, adjusting the horizontal roller depends on different specifications of products and standards to determine the technical parameters. If the localized overheating of the fabric occurs due to the difference in the levelness of the pressure roller, resulting in wear and loss, it is difficult to ensure dimensional stability, and the fabric is severely lowered.
